We conducted an event on awareness & education on sensitive and unspoken topic of Child Sexual Abuse.

Education and Awareness on CSA ( Child Sexual Abuse) is not very familiar in India. It is not a part of our curriculum.

As we all know that, Child sexual abuse has posed a prominent and serious threat in-front of our society. Every one child out of five is a victim of Child Abuse. Children are not aware about the people and events in the outside world. Considering the severity of the issue of Child Sexual Abuse we have created awareness material about this topic with a 360 degree approach.To deal with this issue we have we have developed some unique IEC solutions.

We tested the same in the workshop with students from 3rd to 4th std. We gave them the books to read and art and craft kit activities to solve. We made them solve the activities and tested what they are learning about this subject.

The books and activities give students an understanding about their safe/close family, about good and bad touch, about informing parents if they feel unsafe with someone. The students enjoyed the workshop along with getting awareness on child abuse and their safety.
